المادة المشعة

أي مادة تنطلق منها إشعاعات مؤينة سواء منفردة بنفسها أو ضمن معدات أخرى ومصنفة على أنها خاضعة لرقابة الهيئة، ويدخل ضمنها المواد المشعة طبيعيًا.

Any material from which ionizing radiation is emitted, whether spontaneously or within other equipment, and which is designated as subject to the control of the Authority, including naturally occurring radioactive materials
